IKAROS Aviation Center is pleased to announce two new EASA-approved B1/B2 Differences Courses, both commencing on 4 August 2026. These courses are designed for licensed aircraft maintenance engineers who wish to expand their qualifications, enhance their technical expertise, and increase their career opportunities within the aviation industry.
Delivered by experienced instructors and fully aligned with EASA Part-147 requirements, both courses provide high-quality theoretical training through our Supported Distance Learning (SDL) platform, allowing participants to study flexibly while maintaining the highest educational standards.
A330 (RR Trent 700 / PW4000) B1/B2 Differences from A320
This course is designed for engineers already qualified on the Airbus A320 who wish to transition to the Airbus A330 platform.
Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the technical differences between the two aircraft, including airframe, aircraft systems, avionics, electrical systems, hydraulics, flight controls, and the Rolls-Royce Trent 700 and Pratt & Whitney PW4000 engine variants.
By successfully completing the course, engineers will be better prepared to expand their type rating qualifications and support maintenance operations on one of the world’s most widely used long-haul aircraft.
A320 CEO/NEO B1/B2 Differences
As airlines continue modernising their fleets, the Airbus A320 NEO has become one of the most important aircraft in commercial aviation.
This course enables licensed engineers to understand the key differences between the A320 CEO and A320 NEO, including updates to aircraft systems, new technologies, engine configurations, and operational improvements.
The programme equips participants with the knowledge required to confidently transition to the latest generation of the Airbus A320 family while remaining compliant with current EASA training standards.
